TGIF – Beach Tales

I love living five minutes away from the beach and I’m making the most of this vacation by taking Chotu to the beach every evening ๐Ÿ™‚ My job is to try and dig as deep a hole as possible while Chotu comes in every two minutes and dumps a bucket of sand in it. (Each time he does that I have to pretend to cry). How lovely is it that I get to enjoy my favourite activity every single day instead of having to wait for weekends? Ok, I know almost everyone reading this is still at workย so I’ll stop.

Have a great weekend, everyone! Here are some random snippets:

Poe’s Law:

Without a blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of extremism or fundamentalism that someone won’t mistake for the real thing.

Tulika Books are Chotu’s and my new love. It’s such a relief to find books for Indian children that don’t feature only myths. This book is his current favourite and helps lunch go in a little easier…

What I’m reviewing for Blogadda this week. I’m a sucker for any retelling of the Ramayana, it’s become a hobby now ๐Ÿ™‚

Finally, my birthday is coming up! Shower your love before I get famous! Gift cardsย (preferably Amazon) may be emailed to :-P. Oh, lots of blog love will be appreciated too! (probably too old to be fluttering eyelashes but trying anyway)

    1. I loved the positive and negative you presented in your post and wanted to share it. Thanks for dropping by! Hope to see you back again ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I love beaches and Chirpy too ๐Ÿ™‚ we are a sucker of water bodies and sand… everytime we talk about taking a holiday the first thing Chirpy says is are we going to the beach, if the answer is no she says so do we at least have swimming pool at the hotel? ๐Ÿ™‚

love the game you and Chotu play ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. What a little fish! We’re enjoying the last of the relatively cooler months. Now that mangoes are in season it’s getting too hot to go to the beach every evening.
